MUNCH FAQ
What is a munch? A munch is a casual lunch with like minded folks where we can meet in a public, non-threatening environment, eat, and discuss our mutual interests. It’s a great way to share information and make friends.
Who can go? Anyone 18 or older interested in age play, or supportive of age players. That means littles & middles (and their bigs), Daddies, Mommies, girlz and boyz, teens, babies, diaper lovers, aunts, uncles and babysitters, teachers & governesses, and anyone else in the realm of age play. Everyone is welcome, as long as you are at least (chronologically) 18 years old.
How do I find the munch group when I get there? Details on how to find us are included with the location. At Fudd’s we are almost always in the back room (nearest the patio – complete opposite side of the restaurant from the order counter).
Money is kind of tight for me right now. Is there any charge to attend? No, there is no cost, beyond whatever food & drink you choose to purchase for yourself. You can still attend even if you do not buy anything, but we appreciate you choosing to have lunch or a snack from at the restaurant so that we continue to be in their good graces & welcome there month after month.
Will there be Mommies there? Daddies? Women? Men? Singles? Couples? The short answer to this question is Yes. The long answer is that attendance varies from munch to munch and that all different kinds of people come. There is no way to tell you how many of X type of person will show up, you will just have to attend and see for yourself. We are also very willing to recommend and give you information about other local BDSM/kink groups so please ask if you want more ideas for things to go to.
Can I wear my diapers? Superman underoos? Latex rompers? School girl uniform? Baby reins? Yes, BUT only if you can keep them under wraps or fit in with polite society. We are meeting in a public restaurant where there will be other diners, families and employees and we need to have respect and courtesy for those people in how we look and act.
So just lunch? That’s it? Well, maybe that’s it or maybe it’s just the start of a fun afternoon spent with like minded friends. We may coordinate an outing like movie trip, mini-golf, shopping, or other activities. Keep an eye on our mailing list, or the FetLife group, for details on post-munch activities!
What if I don’t know anyone? Well, first of all, there are almost always new people at every munch, so you may not be the only one. There are a few other things you should know:
- The munch is held in a public place and the location and time are published. You could come out to the restaurant during the munch and observe from afar. No one will know you’re with our group unless you come up and identify yourself. So, you’re free to join us later if you feel more comfortable.
- You can also join the munch e-mail list, introduce yourself, start a discussion and get to know the folks there before coming to the munch.
- You can e-mail the munch hosts to speak to us one-on-one so we can answer any questions or concerns that you may have.
OK, I would like to attend. What do I need to do? Well, other than just show up, we appreciate if you can send us a quick e-mail and let us know that you plan to attend and how many are coming with you. That way we can get an idea of how many people are coming. This helps us get the tables set out before the munch. It also allows us to let you know if any of the plans change.
