DC Littles Munch

MD/DC/VA Age Play/AB Munch- Saturday, January 14th 2012 2:00pm to 5:00pm

The 2nd Saturday of every month, Missy, Richard, and I are holding another ageplay/AB/DL munch in Bethesda, Maryland.

JANUARY MUNCH NEWS!

This time around we’ll be doing a field trip before the munch.  We’re going to go see a puppet show performance of Peter and the Wolf, over at Glen Echo Park.  The performance is at 11:30 am, and tickets are $10.  You can get more information and buy tickets here.  Please note that is a vanilla event, in a family setting.

STAYING IN TOUCH

Call the DC Littles Munch Hotline at (571) 482-9656.  The hotline has basic information about the munch.  Feel free to leave questions, comments, or tell us what a great time you had at a munch.

The DC munch now has a fetlife group, too!  It’s called “DC Littles Munch“.

You might also be interested in joining the DC munch’s mailing list.  It’s a great way to keep up with munch news, and get in touch with your fellow munchers!  You can find more information about it at

THE RESTAURANT

Booeymonger BETHESDA
4600 East West Highway
Bethesda, MD 20814
Phone: (301) 718-9550
http://www.booeymonger.com/index.html

Feel free to call it Boogermonkey, if you want. It’s a deli with great, cheap food, some of which is really unique. I particularly love their GATSBY ARROW sandwich. The website lists a lot of their menu. While you do not have to confirm with me, I’d appreciate it. You can reach me at mako.allen(at)mac(dot)com.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

If the munch needs to be canceled due to weather, a notice will go out on the munch mailing list and fetlife group.  Good reason to join, right?

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1) What the heck is a “munch”?
A munch is get-together where people MEET for LUNCH. It’s a low-key, easy-going safe and friendly way to meet other interesting people like yourself. It’s NOT a play party, and it is in a public place. Munches are a great way to meet new people, share experiences, and become more plugged-in to the community around you.

2) I notice you’re publicizing the location of the restaurant now, and having the munch regularly. Why the change?
To make it easier for folks to plan ahead to come!

3) How do I find the munch group?
Generally, we’ll be upstairs, in the back. It’s not the sort of place that requires reservations. Look for a large group of people, usually with stuffed animals!

4) How should I dress/act at the munch?
This is a get-together in a public place, and not a play party. So, dress as you would to go out to any restaurant. That cool Pooh T-Shirt would be just fine, and you CAN wear a diaper UNDER your clothes. Keep in mind that the whole purpose of coming to a munch is to meet and be a part of your community. You’re going to meet people who’ve been doing this stuff for 10 years, and also people who’ve been doing it for 10 minutes. Do NOT expect that the munch is a good “hook-up” opportunity. Just come with the expectation of meeting other nice people, and you’ll have a great time. All sorts of people are welcome to the munch from all walks of the community — whether you’re an adult baby, a mommy, a daddy, an older ageplayer, a member of the larger BDSM community, whatever — you’re welcome to hang with us. My only proviso is that you must be at least 18 years old.

5) How do I get there?
Booeymonger is easy to reach. It’s about a block away from the Bethesda Metro (RED LINE). If you want to drive, the Waverly Garage has free parking on weekends, and is 1 block away from the restaurant. You can use the Booeymonger website to get directions, too! Looking forward to seeing you there!
